Replacement Bypass Hose, Filler Neck to Thermo Housing, 84-89 300ZX

• (1) Coolant Bypass Hose

Description:
This coolant bypass hose connects the coolant filler neck to the thermostat housing. It should be replaced each time the timing belt is changed to prevent leakage onto the belt. Cut to fit*.

*Notes:
The original version of this hose that we had located has been discontinued (at least temporarily) by the manufacturer. All previous manufacturers who offered the same style replacement hose have superceded to different styles of cut to fit hose instead. While the previous version was also cut to fit, it only required one cut and had a similar molded bend to the original (although it was not exact). The new version will require 2 cuts and measuring in order to install. The image below shows the measurements of the factory hose, which can be used as a rough guide on measuring this hose for fitment. Note that the factory original hose is still available if a direct fit replacement is desired (see 16-8058 in Related Items below).
