Description:
These reproduction door upper moldings fit on the outer, upper portion of the door shell, next to the window. They include the "squeegee" style rubber strips that help keep moisture out of the doors and brush against the outside of the door windows as the glass is rolled up or down. Earlier aftermarket, reproduction, and even OEM replacement moldings were always straight and required bending in order to fit the door properly, which would often lead to brand new moldings with creases in them. Unlike those previous options, these moldings are already curved at the rear, which allows a proper, hassle free installation. This reproduction is of the 73-78 coupe style moldings, which have the rubber strip fitted over the top of the chrome trim and have a black plastic cap fitted at the rear. Sold in matched left and right pairs.
70-72 Note:
70-72 door upper moldings are slightly different in appearance compared to these 73-78 style moldings. Early model moldings have the rubber strip fitted under the chrome trim and have a metal tab that is folded over at the rear (instead of the black plastic cap on late models). Fitment between all S30 coupe models is the same.
