Description:
These Cold-Air Performance Intake Systems are the same great design we've sold for years. Still the best design, filter, & highest performance units available for the 75-78 280Z. However now we've re-made the intake tubes in the same awesome gray color as our sway bars and the ends of our strut bars, and revised the bracket. Don't make the mistake of underestimating the importance of a high-quality, mandrel-bent tube to go along with your high quality K&N filter! Give your fuel injected 280Z increased power and superior filtration, with the specially engineered flow cone housing for increased air intake speed and power, and a super efficient K&N filter element which improves air flow even farther, and traps more particles than stock or aftermarket copycat filters. This system bolts directly to any 280Z with no modifications necessary. The single attachment hole can be easily relocated if desired for customizing, or to accommodate other accessories.

70-78 Turbo Conversions:
If you are converting your 70-78 Z over to a 280ZX Turbo engine and you are not planning to use the factory 280ZX Turbo air flow meter and boots, this is the intake to order. This kit is a direct fit to the 75-78 280Z core support (70-74 Z's require drilling one hole for the mounting bracket); however, the tube diameter is too small for the 280ZX Turbo air flow meter boot. If you are planning to use the factory 280ZX air flow meter and boot, we recommend 11-2923 instead, however the bracket will need modification.

Smog Legality:
Performance Intake Systems may not be street/smog legal in some areas. Check with the motor vehicle code/department in your area.
