Description:
This custom quality kit is made with better-than-original materials to replace, not cover, the old outer seat material on both the driver and passenger seats in your car. It isn't a universal kit, but a professionally designed re-upholstery kit that was constructed to properly fit both front seats in your 84-89 300ZX. The original-design foamed pleats are sewn into both seat bottoms and both back rests. Each kit includes step-by-step instructions, all necessary hardware, 2 back rest upholstery sections, 2 seat bottom upholstery sections, and 2 headrest sections. One kit required per car (covers both seats).
Styling Note:
Some factory interior colors and trims featured two seat face materials and/or colors. 86-89 models also featured "grained" (vertically striped) velour on some models. Our supplier is not able to reproduce these designs at this time. These kits are only available in solid color and single material seat face.
Model Notes:
Unfortunately, the stitching pattern of these upholstery kits will not match the original upholstery found in some Z31 models. This includes the 1984 50th anniversary models equipped with BodySonic seats, models with logos, and 1988 SS models (Recaro seats). These kits will physically fit the turbo and 50th Anniversary seats properly, but will not have the logos from the original upholstery. In addition, the stitching pattern on these kits will not match the Anniversary model BodySonic seats. Upholstery kits are not available for the 1988 SS models.
Note:
All MSA Upholstery Kits are designed to fit the years specified. For instance, an upholstery kit for 1976 will not fit on a 1978 seat. If you are looking to change the look of your seat to that of another year, give us a call at (714)639-2620 to see if we can custom order the look you need.
