Description:
Early 240Z models were equipped with an A-Style transmission from the factory. This transmission is easiest to identify by the two vertically mounted rubber bushings that insulate the shift lever from the rest of the transmission (and driveline vibration). The lever fits into a bracket, which is connected to the transmission at 2 different points. This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) pin that connects the bottom of the shift lever bracket to the striking rod assembly. It is the lower of the two retaining pins, and is held in place using a pair of clips. One pin required per vehicle.
