SU Carburetor Rebuild Kit, 70-71 240Z

Description:
Kit includes the Float Bowl Gasket, Float Bowl Needle Valve, Fuel Hose, necessary flat and ring (washer) gaskets, and the carburetor to insulator gasket for a proper rebuild. It does not include Needles, Nozzles, or Floats (Nozzles have been discontinued by Nissan; we have no options at this time but are working on it for you). One kit is required per carburetor, and can be used on either the front OR rear carburetor.

Note:
If the insulator block is removed from the intake manifold during the rebuild process, you will need to replace the gasket that fits between the two. See 10-2530 in Related Items.

Supercession Note:
The early style SU Carb Rebuild kits have been discontinued by most, if not all, manufacturers. The late style kit (shown above) can be installed in early style carbs with no required modification. The insulator gasket can either be installed as is or trimmed to match the insulator blocks as desired; leaving the gasket as is or trimming it will have no impact beyond appearance.
