The Thermal Vacuum Valve applies vacuum to the EGR valve in order to turn it on or off. This valve fits California and Federal models, installs under the air regulator in the manifold heater assembly, and has 2 vacuum ports.

There are several different setups that Nissan used for the Thermal Vacuum Valves. Some models use one valve while others use two (thermostat housing and/or manifold heater assembly); some have 2 vacuum ports and others have 3. We recommend inspecting your car to confirm which setup your car has.
