This Thermal Vacuum Valve applies vacuum to the EGR valve in order to turn it on or off. This valve fits California and Federal non-turbo models, is installed in the thermostat housing, and has 2 vacuum ports.

There are several different setups that Nissan used for the Thermal Vacuum Valves. Some models use one valve while others use two (thermostat housing and/or manifold heater assembly); some have 2 vacuum ports and others have 3. We recommend inspecting your car to confirm which setup your car has.
