Factory Thermostat Housing Top, 70-2/73 240Z

Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) cover fits over the thermostat and bolts to the thermostat housing on the driver's (left) side of the cylinder head. As with many of the aluminum components in the cooling system, these covers tend to corrode over the years, especially in engines where coolant wasn't changed as scheduled.

Note:
Requires 2 bolts (P/N 14-1271) and 1 gasket (P/N 10-2621), sold separately. See Related Items.

Application Note:
You may also use this housing top, with modification to your vehicle, in place of 16-7141, which has been discontinued by Nissan, for your 3/73-74 Z. This top does not have the same water outlet that the 73-74 Z's had.
