Description:
This driver's (left) side outer tie rod end is the best stock type replacement for worn out original pieces. They feature an upgraded socket, joint, and boot compared to OEM while maintaining the shape, appearance, and fitment of the factory replacements, which Nissan has discontinued. Includes the boot*, castle nut, cotter pin, and zirk fitting. One required per car.
Note:
We have seen instances where some other brands of standard type replacement outer tie rod ends use a larger ball and socket compared to OEM (and these replacements). While not always an issue, these larger tie rod ends can cause interference issues when combined with components such as Bump Steer Spacers. Application Notes:
This outer tie rod features the correct left hand threads, and will only fit on left hand threaded inner tie rods (original for the driver's/left side on all 70-78 models). *While they are designed similar to the originals, these replacement outer tie rod ends do not work with the OEM replacement boots and clamps. The updated boots do not require the o-ring style clamp that the original design requires.
