Description:
The original steering coupler was made from somewhat soft rubber and was designed to absorb vibration and harshness from the road. Like most rubber components, these tend to wear out over time and can cause loose or vague steering that feels sloppy and unresponsive. Upgrading to a firm urethane coupler will instantly improve steering response far beyond even an OE replacement (which is no longer available new). Unlike solid replacements, urethane will maintain some of the insulating benefits of the original design, making it the best option in most cases. For total control, use along with new urethane steering rack and suspension bushings.

Datsun 240Z, 260Z, 280Z, 280ZX
Model Restriction:
Fits all 70-78 models with original rack and pinion steering. For 280ZX, fits 79-81 models equipped with manual rack and pinion steering only. Will not fit on any 280ZX model equipped with power steering.
