Description:
The Strut Spacers are located between the Strut Mount Insulator and the Spring Seat in the rear of the car and are the counterpart to the front Upper Strut Bearings on 70-78 models. While the front bearings allow the front struts to turn, the spacers found in the rear strut assemblies simply make up the height difference caused by the front bearings. The factory hard rubber spacers become soft with age, and can eventually rot out like most rubber components. Unlike the factory rubber pieces, these urethane spacers are more durable, last much longer, and are sold in pairs (one pair required per car)! Be sure to inspect yours when removing or disassembling your rear strut assemblies.
