Worn out strut rod bushings typically cause sloppy steering and vibration under braking. While any replacement bushing will fix these issues, these urethane upgrades will last longer and improve handling (especially when cornering). This kit replaces the original rubber strut rod bushings with durable and strong urethane, and includes new collars to go inside of the bushings.
*Note:
Factory rubber bushings were single piece rubber encased in metal with the collar molded in the center, which was then pressed into the strut rod. While the design does work better than older style tension rods, removal of worn out bushings (and installation of replacements) is significantly more difficult. These urethane upgrades use an improved 2-piece design for the bushing portion that simplifies installation without sacrificing any performance. Each package will include a total of 4 bushing halves along with 2 separate collars.
