This kit replaces the transmission mount bar bushings, as well as the dust cover/spacer washers, with stronger & more durable urethane. Nissan has discontinued the factory rubber bushings, making these the only replacement option for worn out or damaged bushings.
*240Z Note:
Ordering for a 1972 model? Have an automatic transmission installed, or a 70-71 with a B-Style transmission? Please inspect your transmission crossmember (mount bar), then give us a call prior to ordering.
Installation Note:
When the factory rubber-in-sleeve bushing is removed for use with this kit, the inside mating surface of the Mount Bar MUST be cleaned, deburred, and smoothed, so there are no protrusions that may damage the urethane bushings.
