Description:
This kit properly adapts the Datsun coolant temperature sending unit to fit in early small block Chevrolet 350 engines. Required for proper functioning of the original Z temperature gauge.

Need to fit a temperature sender to your V8 equipped 1983 280ZX with Digital Dash? This kit won't work for your specific application; please contact us for options.

Note:
This kit only fits 1988 & earlier small block Chevrolet 350 engines.

Retaining Nut Plating Note:
As with many of the OEM hardware, fittings, caps, and other plated components, Nissan no longer uses the original plating that gave the Retaining Nut in this kit the "yellow zinc" appearance. Nissan has used several different types of plating on metal components over the years, and it is not uncommon to receive pieces with different appearances (especially when ordering in quantity). The current plating used on the genuine Nissan Retaining Nut in this kit gives it a more blue-silver tinted appearance. See 16-7115 for a comparison of the original style plating and the current plating.
