Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) sending unit is mounted in the Thermostat Housing and sends the coolant temperature signal to the digital dash gauge. If your coolant temperature gauge is not showing the correct temperature (or receiving any signal at all), chances are this single wire sensor is either going bad, has a build-up of corrosion on it, or the connector itself is in need of replacement. Don't forget a replacement retaining nut (see 16-7115 in Related Items). For use with 1983 models equipped with digital instruments.
