This lubricant is designed to significantly reduce the force required to install rubber parts onto metal car bodies, both reducing the physical effort (and frustration) required, and the potential damage to the rubber. It can help with stubborn parts like rubber boots, grommets, and plugs that have to be "squeezed" into an opening cut in sheet metal (ie: throttle boots, heater hose grommets, floor pan plugs, and especially 70-76 door bumpers). It will also help with many weatherstrips, like door window channel seals that have to be slid into place, and glass window weatherstrips that must be fit into the window opening. It is safe for use on rubber, metal, and most plastics. Silicone, petroleum, and solvent free, this Non Toxic and biodegradable lubricant will not dry out rubber, or otherwise impair its performance. Only a minimal amount should be used, so one bottle can go a long way.
