Some Thoughts About Sway Bars
Sway bars are really anti-roll bars. Their primary function is to minimize body lean; therefore; increasing the car's handling capabilities. In effect, sway bars are sort of a torsion bar. They work by stiffening the chassis to resist body roll. What size bars are best for your Z? That depends on how and where you'll be using the car. For most street driven vehicles, you need to strike a good balance between performance potential and ride quality. Contrary to some stories you may hear, oversized sway bars will adversely affect your car's ride quality. Remember that sway bars are a chassis stiffener. Consider how hard you drive and the condition of your local roads. Stillen sway bars utilize high tensile strength aircraft grade spring steel for increased durability and performance (standard steel simply won't do in this application).

Description:
Stillen sway bars come in a matched set that will improve the handling and balance of your Nissan Z®. Increased wall thickness compared to stock, combined with high quality spring steel and urethane bushings, means they can perform their critical function of generating maximum tire contact with the road surface without creating an overly harsh ride in return. Multiple end link positions on each bar allow for fine tuning to meet your needs. The front bar is adjustable from 21% to 48% stiffer than stock, while the rear is adjustable from 37% to 70% stiffer. From the street, to the canyons, and even on the track, these Stillen sway bars fit all types of driving style!
Installation Note:
This kit is designed to reuse the original mounting bushings and end links. See Related Items for the NISMO Adjustable End Links if you need upgraded replacements for your original links.
