This updated breather filter more closely matches the Valve Cover Breather Filter (10-2092 in Related Items), which K&N updated several years ago. Both the color and the overall size of these two filters are now the same, with the inlet on the underside being the only difference. The smaller diameter filter remains the same functionally, and offers better clearance for some custom headers.

Description:
The breather tube on the front driver's side of your engine block was designed to be connected by a hose to the intake system to facilitate Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV). If you change your carburetor or intake type and no longer have a place for the PCV hose, never block the PCV tube, and don't leave it without the protection of a filter.
