"They should make that in Carbon Fiber!" The factory option spoiler design (30-7298) fits the 370Z very well, but many of you wanted it in Carbon Fiber. There were no options for a carbon fiber spoiler at all at the time, so we had our local supplier start working on molds to produce them (all the way back in 2009!). Work was completed back in early 2010, and we've offered them ever since. This spoiler installs in the same holes as the factory spoiler and includes mounting bolts. If you have a factory option spoiler already, this spoiler will bolt right up.
Installation Notes:
If your Z currently has a Rear Spoiler or Wing (other than the factory installed standard coupe spoiler), since it will need to be removed prior to installing another, there are couple of things to consider. If what you are replacing is a different style from what you are installing, it may be necessary to fill un-covered holes left from the original installation. In addition, some may have been attached with adhesives, even if they were factory or dealer installed. If that is the case, a heat gun or hair dryer should be used to allow safe removal of the old Spoiler, otherwise damage may occur to the paint. If you are unfamiliar with these procedures, professional installation is recommended. Contact us for help and recommendations.
