Chromed Valve Timing Control (VTC) Assembly Bolt Set, 03-06 350Z

Description:
Finally, a chrome hardware kit for 350Z's! Like our kits for early Z-Car engines, we start with quality, hardened steel Allen bolts, which are polished, chromed, then baked to preserve tensile strength. This kit includes bolts and washers to mount both Valve Timing Control (VTC) Valves to the front Camshaft Brackets and the VTC Solenoids to the VTC Valves.

Installation Notes:
VTC Valve bolts have a very low torque spec, while the VTC Solenoid bolt torque spec is not specified by Nissan. With this in mind, we recommend installing both bolt types by hand first (but only until resistance is felt), then follow the factory torque spec for the valve bolts using an inch-pound specific torque wrench and using the same torque spec on the solenoid bolts. Torque Spec: 87 - 112 in-lb.

Image Note:
The two lower images show this bolt set installed on a VQ40DE engine instead of the VQ35DE from the 350Z, which has the solenoid connector on the driver's side in a different location. The hardware is the same on both VTC assemblies.
