Description:
We start with quality, hardened steel Allen bolts, which are polished, chromed, then baked to preserve tensile strength. This kit includes bolts and washers to hold the water pump pulley to mechanical water pumps.

Unless an electric water pump is being used, the mechanical water pump and pulley are reused when upgrading to electric fans. Most often, we have seen the standard fan clutch studs & nuts used to hold the pulley in place. While this does work, the now much more visible hardware is often old and in less than great condition, unless the pump has recently been replaced. Finally, a cleaner looking alternative is now available! Our kit replaces the standard fan clutch nuts & studs with bolts & lock washers that match the rest of our chromed hardware. Since the bolts are shorter than the clutch studs, a small amount of clearance is also gained.
