Description:
This direct replacement for the original hood emblem keeps the same size, a similar design, and incorporates the traditional "Z" Logo in Chrome on a textured Black background. The edge is chrome, as is the large "Z" Logo in the center. This hood emblem is shaped the same as the original for proper fit, and installs using the same two post system as the original. Clips not included.

JDM Note:
This "Z" emblem is a good alternative to the original Fairlady Z emblem, which is no longer available. All Z-Cars sold in Japan used a "Z" emblem similar in appearance to the 280ZX emblem, but the size and shape of the "DATSUN" emblem used in the rest of the world (and the same as this alternative version). Nissan has also superceded the Fairlady Z emblem to the 280ZX part; however, the ZX version does not have the angle to match the hood needed for proper installation (it also does not have the clip posts used on early models). If you need a replacement emblem for your 70-78 Fairlady Z, we recommend either this Classic "Z" emblem or the "DATSUN" Emblem (31-1001 in Related Items).
