Description:
The earliest Z-Cars originally came with an underpowered, 6" brake master vac. When the brakes are upgraded in street cars, the later 8" booster is commonly used as a conversion to prevent brake locking. In some racing conditions, the factory 8" unit from later models, or even the 10" 2+2 brake master vac, just isn't enough to stop your car. That's where this brake booster comes in. This tandem master vac is built with serious racers in mind, providing more vacuum assist to the brakes than any other brake booster we've seen. Even better, this booster is also a direct bolt on and works with the factory master cylinder (not included). No core charge or exchange required.
Note:
Not recommended for street driven cars. These units will produce too much pressure under normal driving conditions and may cause brake lock up. They are designed for the heavy, high-temperature, high-speed battering that a brake system gets in competition situations.
