Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) cable connects the bottom lever of the heater control assembly to the "Defrost/Room" (Def-Room; Def/Floor) vent door arm (left side of the heater box plenum). The vent doors that this cable controls are responsible for directing hot air to either the defroster tubes (below the windshield) or the "Room" (floor vents). Like many control cables, these can stretch from age and use which causes the vent door to not open and close all the way (or at all).

This cable measures approximately 18 1/8" from end to end.
