Description:
After seeing thousands of burned & melted fuse boxes, we have developed an upgraded unit. Made to plug into your original harness, this fuse box uses a printed circuit board, plug-in style fuses, original color wires/connectors, and it bolts into the stock location. The combination of upgrades used in this design allow the box to resist damage where the original fuse boxes failed. For ultimate protection, combine this box with our wiring upgrade harnesses; see Related Items. Replaces Catalog #12-4211.

Application Notes:
Unless they have been modified, all 1972 & 1973 240Z's should have the "short pigtail" fuse box shown here. Although uncommon, we have seen a limited number of earlier models equipped with the short pigtail box as well (and vice versa). Please visually confirm that the box you are replacing has the short wiring "pigtails" prior to ordering. For earlier 240Z's with the longer "pigtail" wiring, see 50-5011 in Related Items. If you are not sure which style you need, please give us a call.

Important:
The short and long pigtail Fuse Boxes ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE! The boxes are designed differently and will not function if simply plugged in to a car that is wired for the opposite style harness (in other words, a short pigtail box will not function in a car that was equipped with a long pigtail wiring harness). You MUST check the configuration of your current fuse box before ordering. As with all electrical items, fuse boxes are not eligible for return.
