Description:
The cold start valve is essentially a fuel injector mounted on the intake manifold just behind the throttle body. It adds extra fuel during cold start-ups. Depending on how it has failed, it can cause hard starts in cold operation or rich conditions at operating temp. It is also a good idea to inspect the electrical plug and Thermo Time Switch if your valve not functioning properly. Don't forget a replacement gasket! (See Related Items.)

Note: The original Nissan Cold Start Valve has been discontinued. This Bosch unit is of equal or better quality. The tube for the fuel line is in a different position, so you will need one extra foot of our part 11-4001 fuel hose to complete the installation (see Related Items). Please call with any questions.
