Description:
This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) upper emblem on the passenger (right) side of the deck lid. It features bright silver lettering backed in black and mounts at an angle just above the horizontal "240Z" emblem. As factory Nissan pieces, these have all the correct features and details needed to properly finish your Z project or restoration. Includes clips for installation.

74-78 Owners:
While we are still trying to source the proper 74-78 deck lid emblems, this 240Z version of this "Datsun" emblem fits directly in place of the later version, with no modification required for installation. This emblem does have a different appearance, such as a satin silver finish instead of the chrome on the lettering and a "sharper" font instead of the more rounded ends on the later emblem.
JDM Note:
This "Datsun" logo emblem was used on the deck lids of all 70-73 Z-Cars sold outside of Japan. All models sold in Japan either used the "Fairlady Z" emblem or the "Fairlady" and "240Z" combination; see 31-1120 and 31-1041 in Related Items for more details.
