Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) adjustment arm is a direct replacement for the original on 79-83 ZX. Great for OE restorations, as it comes in the same blue color as the factory installed original (see 80-8398 in Related Items for the same color paint). For a sturdier and easier to adjust unit, see 10-2077 in Related Items.

Replacement Options:
For restorations or anyone looking for a more original option, the OE 70-78 adjusting arm makes a great alternative (12-4066 in Related Items). For a sturdier and easier to adjust unit, see 10-2077 in Related Items.

Replacement Notes:
This original replacement adjusting arm has an additional mounting tab at the outer end of the adjustment side of the bracket (on the top side angled toward the rear), which was used to mount a clamp that supported the lower radiator hose (see diagram on this page for reference). Neither of the replacement options noted above include this tab or any mounting solution for this support clamp, as it was not used on 70-78 models. If your 280ZX does still have this clamp, you will need to manufacture an alternate mounting solution in order to use it with the replacement options. The only other option to keep this support clamp in use would be to repair or restore your original bracket (we recommend a combination of POR-15 Epoxy Putty (if needed), POR-15 Stop Rust Kit, and Datsun Blue Engine Paint for the closest look to factory!). Note that the clamp has also been discontinued by Nissan, and it is not considered functionally critical.
