Description:
You've asked for it for years, and we finally have it available! This aerosol paint has been blended to perfectly match the original, impossible to find blue that Datsun used on factory engine components. One can will cover one engine block.

In addition to the engine block, this paint color was originally used on the following factory engine components (as well as their genuine, original equipment (OEM) replacement parts):

Alternator Adjuster Arm
Lower Alternator Mounting Bracket
Crankshaft Pulley
Power Steering Idler Pulley & Adjuster/Mounting Bracket
Air Conditioning Idler Pulley & Adjuster/Mounting Bracket

Other components, such as the Engine Side Tube and Rear Bypass Tube, often times had overspray of the same paint on them, but were not intentionally painted in this color.

Base Coat:
POR-15 Rust Preventative Coating makes a perfect base layer for this paint, even when used on the engine block. The Stop Rust Kit includes everything needed to properly prep and apply the coating to your engine components in order to ensure a perfect, long lasting finish. Larger quantities of the components included in the kit are also available individually; see Related Items.

Please remember that color can look significantly different across hundreds of different monitors, screens, and settings. Also remember that even though not exposed to the sun very often, your original engine bay paints have still faded over time. We believe this paint is a very good match for the original appearance. Additionally, some of the OEM replacement components that came with this paint are listed in Related Items.

Note:
This paint can be used on other components for a unique look if desired; however, it is not for use on exhaust manifolds/headers as it is not rated for that temperature.
