Description:
Ball joints are basically socket style joints that fit between the front control arms and the steering knuckles. They allow the strut assemblies to pivot independent from the control arm. These joints are commonly ignored during routine maintenance, which ultimately leads to wear and eventually failure. Bad ball joints can cause a range of issues, from front end vibration or clunking to uneven tire wear and loose or vague steering feel. This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) replacement. While it does not include a zerk lubrication fitting, it does have the threaded hole already available (comes from Nissan with a small bolt). Sold individually; 2 required per car.
*Model Notes:
If you own a 70 240Z, you'll need to use steering knuckles from a later car (71-78) to use these ball joints, as the 1970 models use a smaller ball joint, which is not currently available.
