Description
This is the Nissan replacement for the genuine, original equipment (OEM) long J-bolt that holds the front of the battery frame in place. Sold individually; 2 required per car.

*Replacement Note:
Nissan originally used two different part number J-bolts from the factory; however, dealerships originally sold this curved replacement for both as a supercession many years ago. Since then, the original supercessions have changed to a different battery J-bolt that is straight like the factory equipment but about 8mm shorter in overall length than this curved J-bolt (and the original front bolt). Unfortunately, the Nissan superceded J-bolt is too short for use on the front of the stock battery size and will not work as there is not enough room for the hardware to fully install. If you are using a battery that is shorter than stock or want to use a closer to stock size J-bolt on the firewall side of the battery, purchase 12-4262 in Related Items below. Note that for the stock size battery you will still need at least one of the longer curved J-bolts (this part number), or you can simply use two of this J-Bolt and save a few dollars!
