Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) long J-bolt holds the front of the battery frame in place. Sold individually.

70-83 Note:
1970-1983 factory original battery J-bolts all supercede to this part number. This J-bolt is about 8mm shorter than the factory equipped J-bolt on 70-78 models and the front J-Bolt on 79-83 models. This difference in length leaves just enough room for the factory hardware on 70-78 models and 79-83 rear, but not for the 79-83 front J-bolt. We recommend using 12-4260 instead of this J-bolt for these applications. This J-bolt can be used if your 70-78 application specifically requires a straight J-bolt, as a replacement for the rear 79-83 bolt, or if you are using a battery that is shorter than original.
