(1) Cylinder Head to Timing Cover Bolt

Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) bolt goes down through the cylinder head into the top of the timing cover. It can also be used in the lower corners of the timing cover, to hold the two halves of the oil pump together, and to secure the balance tube to the intake manifolds on carbureted models. Includes pre-installed lock washer. Sold individually. See Related Items for our complete Timing Cover Bolt Kit.

*Distributor Support Note:
Factory replacement for 74-78 models. For 70-73 and 79-83, the original replacement bolt did not have a preinstalled lock washer. In some cases, adding a lock washer on these years can cause the bolt to not fully thread into the timing cover. Our Chrome Distributor Support Bolt Kit includes slightly longer bolts and works as a great option in these cases; see 14-1001 in Related Items.
