Availability: Unfortunately, this item has been discontinued by Nissan. While we had previously located a limited number of these OEM Heater Control Valves through one of our overseas suppliers, we have not been able to acquire more of them in some time. While it can be uncommon, we do come across ultra-rare or otherwise hard-to-find parts like this once in a while. We'll update this page if we are able to locate more. Description:
One of the most common reasons why your 260Z/280Z's heater system may not be working right is a bad control valve. When the valve fails, it can cause your heater to stay on all the time, not turn on at all, or even spill engine coolant all over your carpet! This genuine, original equipment (OEM) valve attaches to the heater housing. On models factory equipped with A/C, this valve controls the volume of coolant flowing through the heater system (it also serves as the on/off valve on models without factory A/C). Availability Note:
Ever since Nissan discontinued production of these Heater Control Valves well over a decade ago, inventory of these control valves has been limited. Although it took some time to locate them originally, we were ultimately able to find a limited supply of these genuine Nissan control valves in Canada. When that supply ran out, we were able to source more from importers in Japan. Like many items that we source from Japan or other areas around the world, these control valves may not be in stock at all times. If we are currently out of stock, be sure to check back in case we have located another supply.
