Description:
The Oxygen Sensor, located in the exhaust manifold (or the rear elbow on the turbocharger), works by detecting how much oxygen is in your exhaust. It then sends a signal to the computer, which uses that input (along with several other signals from various components) to make adjustments to the fuel flow into your engine. A bad O2 sensor can cause several issues, ranging from reduced fuel economy to a failed catalytic converter. Failed O2 sensors are one of the most common causes of failed emissions tests. This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) Oxygen Sensor, which fits both turbo and non-turbo models. Sold individually, 1 required per car.

Notes:
Federal Emission Specification 280ZX's did not have an oxygen sensor until 7/80. California Emission Specification 280ZX's had an oxygen sensor from 8/79. Replaces catalog #11-3458, 81-83 280ZX Turbo.
