Factory Strut Mount Insulator, Rear, 9/74-78 260Z-280Z

Description:
If you notice a knocking or banging sound during sudden suspension travel, such as when you hit bumps in the road or go over speed bumps, it may be time to replace the strut mounting insulators. Over time, the inner rubber portion of these insulators wears out, which allows the metal core of the insulator (where the strut bolts to) to move around inside (or even contact) the outer metal shell, which can cause that occasional knock. This genuine, original equipment (OEM) mounting insulator is located between the body and and the spring seat, with the strut spacer fitting between the insulator and the seat. Note:
Nissan discontinued these rear insulators many years ago. The shorter front insulator (23-4370) can be used in its place along with our Strut Mount Insulator Adapter Kit (23-4369). The shorter insulator can be used in the rear without the spacers; however, it will lower the rear of the car by about 3/4". Please call for details.
