Description:
This multi-groove belt drives the water pump and alternator. Multi-Groove Type belts fit in pulleys with multiple shallow "grooves" in them for the belt. Belts should be inspected for wear and damage with each tune up at a minimum and replaced at the first sign of either. Nissan was not consistent with which belt type was used, so physical inspection is strongly recommended to ensure you are ordering the right belt for your car. Fits 1984 through 8/1985 turbo (by production date). Nissan was inconsistent in these applications; please physically inspect your belt/car prior to ordering. See our Fitment Note below for additional details.

Fitment Note:
This is a "grooved" belt (often called a "multi-groove" or "serpentine" belt). If your early turbo model Fan/Water Pump and Alternator Pulleys have multiple shallow "grooves" for this belt, or if the belt you removed has multiple "grooves", then this is the belt for you regardless of production date. If your 300ZX fan belt does not have multiple grooves on the pulley side, then you will need 16-7805 in Related Items. If you are not sure, please give a sales technician a call at (714)639-2620.
