Factory Metal Front Lower Valance, Right, 70-8/74 240Z-260Z

Availability: Unfortunately, this item has been discontinued by Nissan. While we had previously located a limited number of these OEM Front Lower Valances through one of our overseas suppliers, we have not been able to acquire more of them in some time. While it can be uncommon, we do come across ultra-rare or otherwise hard-to-find parts like this once in a while. We'll update this page if we are able to locate more. • (1) Right (Passenger) Side Front Lower Valance

Description:
This genuine, original equipment (OEM) metal panel mounts underneath the headlight case, below the bumper. It is the passenger (right) side outer end of the 3-piece front lower valance, which also houses the turn signal assembly.

Front Spoiler Note:
This panel, along with the rest of the original 3-piece lower valance, is required to install lower front spoilers that do not replace the factory panels, such as the BRE style spoilers.

Protective Coating:
Nissan replacement body panels for early Z-Cars originally came with a black coating, which was intended to protect the metal from rusting prior to paint and body work. It is not a finish coat, and it is also not designed for impact protection. As such, it is fairly common for this coating to arrive with scratches, scuffs, and scrapes, both from shipping and time spent on the shelf (note that the longer OEM panels sit on the shelves at Nissan, the more likely the coating will be scratched up to an extent). This coating should be removed as a last step of prep work after all other body repair work has been completed and prior to priming and paint. Please contact us with any questions at (714)639-2620.

Availability Note:
Ever since Nissan discontinued production of these Front Lower Valances over two decades ago, inventory of these valances has been limited. Although it took some time to locate them originally, we were ultimately able to find a limited supply of these genuine Nissan Headlight Cases in Japan. Like many items that we source from Japan or other areas around the world, these lower valances may not be in stock at all times. If we are currently out of stock, be sure to check back in case we have located another supply.

Model Restriction:
*Fits "early" 1974 260Z models produced from 9/73 through 8/74. If you have a 9/74 to 11/74, then you have the "late" 260Z and this panel will not fit.
