Description:
Z-Car floors and frame rails are known to frequently suffer from rust. Like our repair panels, this kit is designed for permanent, weld-in repair (not temporary bolt-on parts or covers). Each kit is designed with more overall metal that is thicker, and includes water drainage holes, ensuring that each piece is the absolute best for repairing rusted out or otherwise damaged 280ZX flooring. Sold as a complete kit including the floor pan sections and under floor frame rail sections for both driver's (left) and passenger (right) sides. Floor pan plugs are not included. Professional installation strongly recommended*.

*Installation Note:
Unlike early model kits, the 280ZX Floor Pan Kits are not molds of the original flooring; they are patch panels that require fitting work in addition to welding. They are designed to be a great starting point if your 280ZX does not have enough good floor pan remaining to fix safely. As stated above, professional installation is strongly recommended. Image Note:
To avoid confusion, the floor pans in the image are individually rotated backwards compared to the how they would fit on the car. The frame rails in the image are laying in the opposite direction of how they attach to the floor pans. Our hired photographer did not realize they were backwards! The narrower end of the frame rail goes to the front, where the angled edge of the floor is. The pan shown on the right in the image is the passenger's side, the pan on the left is the driver's side. The part of the floor pans closest to the camera is the front. The curved side of each pan is where they meet with the transmission tunnel, while the straight side fits toward the doors.
