Timing Chain Kit, 70-74 240Z-260Z

Description:
Servicing the timing system of your engine is a job that should never be done halfway. All of the components of the system should be replaced to prevent major damage to your engine. This kit comes with all new components to do the job right, including: both gears; both guides; chain; tensioner; and both cover gaskets.

Note:
Don't forget that you will need to remove your water pump in order to remove your timing cover. You will need a replacement water pump gasket in order to reinstall the pump. We also recommend replacing the water pump bolts at a minimum, since these tend to become brittle over time and often break during removal. Water pump bolts are available on their own or as part of our timing cover bolt kits. See Related Items below for these and other items to consider replacing.
