Description:
This high quality, custom kit is made with better-than-original materials to replace, not cover, the old outer seat material on both the driver and passenger seats in your car. Not a universal kit, but a complete kit made using the same craftsmanship as our original style kits with full Automotive Grade leather for the front seating surface (face), and high quality black vinyl sides and rear. Factory patterns and stitching are incorporated to match and properly fit both front seats in your 72-73 240Z. The front is available in either Black or Burnt Orange leather (the same color as the 350Z interior). Both are top grade, having passed "automotive grade" requirements for abrasion resistance and ultraviolet protection. Each kit includes step-by-step instructions, all necessary hardware, 2 back rest upholstery sections, and 2 seat bottom upholstery sections. One kit required per car (covers both seats).

Application Note:
This upholstery kit fits late style 240Z seats with lever-type backrest adjusters. If your seats have knob style backrest adjusters instead, see 40-2700E in Related Items instead.

Material Note:
Leather upholstery kits feature Automotive Grade Leather on the front seating surface (face) only. The sides and back areas use a high quality black "leather matched" vinyl made with a texture and appearance similar to leather. If you need your kit to be made in full Automotive Grade Leather instead, please give us a call at (714)639-2620 or Email us instead. Note that the "coarse grain" pattern in the center section of the original upholstery is not available in leather.

Vent Note:
Original 240Z upholstery had 4 metal vents on the seat back, which are not included with this leather upholstery kit. Give us a call at (714)639-2620 if you need these vents installed in your kit.

Note:
All MSA Upholstery Kits are designed to fit the years specified. For instance, an upholstery kit for 1976 will not fit on a 1978 seat. If you are looking to change the look of your seat to that of another year, give us a call at (714)639-2620 to see if we can custom order the look you need.
