The Story:
The local company who makes many of our fiberglass items originally made the 70-78 Victory™ Spoiler as a limited factory option spoiler back in the 70's directly for Nissan. The SCCA's rules for many racing classes are similar to this: "Aftermarket aerodynamic devices are prohibited with the exception of front air dams/spoilers and rear spoiler, unless a factory option". So to help out the racers of the day to get more downforce, Nissan had a small amount of 240Z spoilers made to give racers even more of an edge. The S30 version was listed as Nissan a factory option, so it fit into the rules of the day. Our manufacturer has re-molded the spoiler to properly fit on 79-83 280ZX Coupes, and now in addition to Fiberglass, we've added the option of Carbon Fiber.

Description:
You asked and we listened! Now in Carbon Fiber! The 280ZX Victory™ Spoiler follows the design of our best-selling S30 version, accurately redesigned to properly fit the rear deck of 280ZX Coupes. The Victory™ Spoiler bolts on to the rear deck lid for security & stability (bolts included).

Safety Note:
The Victory™ Spoiler creates significant downforce, and should not be used at racing speeds without the use of a front air dam to provide front downforce. Please call if you have any questions.
