Rear Transverse Link Assembly, 7/71-78 240Z-260Z-280Z

Description:
For our Premium Refurbishing, we start with only top condition cores with no signs of damage, significant wear, or severe rust. We then sand blast them to ensure that there are no hidden defects prior to powder-coating. The end result is a more durable factory component that is great for every Z! We've decided to include extra components with the Rear Transverse Link Assembly for Series 2 cars (7/71-78), which are the vertical braces and lower control arm mounting brackets. Replacing all of these components together will ensure a seamless installation and no weak links.

Core Note:
Serviceable condition Series 1 240Z components are fairly rare these days. From cars lost to the ages, to damage from accidents or time, there just aren't a whole lot of these components left. Another common cause for the lack of these components is differential swaps, which require the use of the later Transverse Link. For that reason, and to try and make changing to a later style differential easier, we will accept both Series 1 (70-6/71) and Series 2 (7/71-78) cores as valid exchanges for this part. Your core must include the Lower Rear Transverse Link, both vertical brackets, and both rear control arm mounting brackets (the two brackets that hold the rear control arm to the transverse link). 70-6/71 Owners:
If your differential mount also needs to be replaced (generally causes a loud "clunk" when shifting), you will need to change to this Rear Transverse Link Assembly, along with the later Mustache Bar and Differential Mount Insulator (23-4599R* and 10-2252 in Related items below). The illustration below shows the specific components that will need to be changed (highlighted in red). *If you are changing to an R200 differential, use 23-4600 instead.
