Differential Mount Insulator, 70-71 240Z

Description:
If you hear a clunking sound when you shift gears while driving your Z, chances are the culprit is the differential insulator. Over time, the rubber in the insulator ages and wears, which eventually allows the two metal brackets of the insulator to contact each other, resulting in the well known clunking sound. Replacing the mount is the only way to fix the problem and prevent total failure of the mount; a potentially disastrous situation.

Note:
Although this mount insulator has been discontinued by Nissan, the later 72-78 mount (10-2252) and solid differential mount (10-2296) can be used in place of this unit. You will also need to change to the later mustache bar and crossmember. See 10-2252 for details. Please give us a call if you have any questions.
