Performance Regrinding - Factory Camshafts, Z31 Stage III, 84-89 300ZX Non-Turbo

All performance camshafts are created in the machine shop where they are ground to chosen specifications. The factory Nissan camshafts your Z31 came with are of the highest quality, and are perfectly suited for performance regrinding. All that is necessary is to set up your order with us, and send us your factory camshafts (Note: don't send them in until we tell you!). We have them professionally ground, and what you get back are not only performance camshaft "grinds", but ones made from an actual factory original Nissan camshafts, so of the utmost quality to start with. We've been professionally regrinding 84-89 300ZX camshafts for decades! Our 84-89 300ZX cams are reground on your Genuine Nissan Cams and sold in pairs. These cams are reground to order. Your old cams must be sent to us in fully serviceable condition. Break In Additive (now included; part #80-9025) must be used during engine break-in. New rocker arms, proper springs, and proper lifters are highly recommended; however, old components can be used as long as they are professionally tested, inspected, and confirmed within acceptable specifications. The hydraulic lifters are the most important component to inspect.

Your cams must be in good, serviceable condition. If your cams are not serviceable, we will contact you prior to returning them to you. Severe damage or wear, such as pitting, severe lobe wear or cracked/broken cam bodies, are some examples of camshafts that cannot be serviced. Please contact us with any questions.
Application Note:
Have a VG30 engine in a different application? This grind can ONLY be applied to 300ZX single overhead camshaft VG30 engine cam cores. Non-Z VG30 and VG33 engines can use this grind with proper supporting components, but will need to source a set of 300ZX-Z31 cores to regrind.
