Description
This is the genuine, original equipment (OEM) lower emblem on the passenger (right) side of the deck lid. It mounts horizontally just below the angled "Datsun" emblem. The "240" numbering is chrome backed in black, as is the trim around the white "Z". As factory Nissan pieces, these have all the correct features and details needed to properly finish your Z project or restoration. Includes clips for installation.
Image Note:
Looking for the deck lid "Datsun" emblem shown installed next to this "240Z" emblem? See 31-1041 in Related Items. For the "Fairlady" emblem, see JDM note below.
*JDM Note:
This emblem was used on both fenders and the rear spoiler of the Fairlady 240Z models in Japan, including the "Fairlady 240Z", "Fairlady 240Z-L", and the "Fairlady 240ZG". A separate "Fairlady" emblem was installed with this emblem in all 3 positions (in front of the "240Z" on the fenders; above the "240Z" on the spoiler or deck lid). If you are restoring an original Japanese 240Z model, and you still have your original "Fairlady" emblems, this is the correct matching emblem for all 3 of these positions. Unfortunately, the "Fairlady" emblem is not available even in Japan, so we recommend converting to the "Fairlady Z" version used on all other Z models in Japan instead if you no longer have yours; see Related Items.
Fender Emblem Note:
Aside from the Fairlady 240Z models described above, all Fairlady Z models used the "Fairlady Z" emblem on the fenders, our part number 31-1120 (also used on the deck lid and factory installed rear spoiler of Fairlady Z models). All other 240Z models used the "DATSUN" logo fender emblem, our P/N 31-1010. See Related Items for both options.
