Description:
If you are building a racing engine, the 45 mm kit is what you need to get maximum benefit out of performance camshafts. *It comes complete with 3 carburetors, air horns, manifolds, linkage, air horns, and hardware. Check your local emissions laws for smog legality. Don't forget Air Cleaners! If you are uncertain of what size triple carburetors to use for your particular performance engine configuration, just give us a call before deciding.
Manifold Note:
Please note that Weber DOES NOT make a 45 mm manifold. All Weber Triple Carburetor Kits include a 40mm manifold, and they assume that all racing engines will be port matched. Due to this, the extra material from the 5 mm difference is considered suitable. Please call if you have any questions.
Additional Components:
Depending on your car's current configuration, you may need some additional components. Air cleaners are not included with DCOE kits, so you will need to purchase them separately. When switching from Fuel Injection to these carburetors, you will need to change to a lower pressure fuel pump such as the Holley or K&N pumps we offer (see Related Items), as injection type pumps use far too much pressure for carbs. Triple Weber manifolds are not configured for use with the original PCV system, so either a breather filter, catch can, or custom modification to the manifold will be needed. These are just a few things to consider when converting; give us a call at (714)639-2620 for further details you may need to consider.

Datsun 240Z, 260Z, or any 280Z/280ZX adapted for carburetors
